It's not just one area, but a huge variety of various exercises. The author goes through different exercise protocols, and each one is an example of using the program. The author teaches a lot by teaching you the exercises, but is very concise so there is no lost time when you are looking for a specific exercise. The most important part of this book is that it has exercises for all your levels of experience but still gives a great overall view of different exercise types. My only complaint would be that the book does have some typos that can pop up frequently but I have had these corrected in my online purchases and the website. After reading the book, I feel like I have gotten very good at the various exercises. I have to say that the author has made a great recommendation. I've always wanted to try it myself so I would give this book and the group a try. This book does everything that it claims to do, and does it well! I'll say that in the course of doing one set of all of the exercises and doing some warm-up sets, I was surprised how much I improved my strength on some exercises. I started with 1 set, and I was amazed that I did not have any pain at all. I'd recommend this book for anyone looking to get started programming for fitness.
